Adam CheneyAdam Cheney, Rochester Area Coordinator for Arrive Ministries

John MeyerJohn Meyers, Catholic Charities SE MN, Director
of Refugee Resettlement

Rochester and Olmsted County have a long history of caring for refugees. Our community has been greatly enriched by reaching out to (now neighbors) from SE ASIA, from various African tribes (Somalian, Sudanese) & individuals from Central/South America.

We are in the midst of a new chapter with families from Afghanistan arriving in our city. They are seeking safety, hope and opportunity to live life in a morefull and complete way.

Several of our friends: John Meyers, Catholic Charities and Adam Cheney, Arrive Ministries, are providing significant leadership in this new chapter.
Both are a big part of welcoming our new Refugee and Immigrant neighbors. They will give updates that will help us pray for our new neighbors.

We will then pray for our Afghan friends and everyone who is helping them adjust to Rochester.
